Campbellton has seen great benefit in recent years through the efforts of the many local volunteers in amateur sport and from the legacy of the Canada Games. Our recreation department and "Great Outdoors" are well utilized at Sugarloaf park and on the Restigouche River, the most exclusive salmon fishing river in North America (Sports Illustrated).
