What to Wear?
Dress
casually at all times here in Campbellton. However make a note that
in summer our temperature maximizes to 23°c and winter temperatures
can drop as low as -18°c.
Customs and
Duty Free
Persons
18 years or older, can import, duty free, up to 24 12-oz cans of
beer or 40 ounces of liquor.
As far as smoking goes, visitors 18 years or older can import, free
of duty, 50 cigars, 200 cigarettes, or 400 grams of manufactured
tobacco.
All of this is referred to importing into Canada.
Visitors are asked to please remember that Canada uses the metric
system. Although some stores will carry products measured in pounds
or ounces.
As far as speed limits go, remember that 90km/h is the same as 55mph.

20°C is about 68°F 0°C is 32°F
30°C is about 80°F 10°C is 50°F
Gas in Canada
is sold by the liter and it takes 3.8 liters to make a US gallon.
Regulations
For Visitors
Persons from the United States, citizens or permanent residence
may enter Canada without Visas or Passports. But, they must show
either a birth certificate along with proof of being a US resident.
Persons from other countries must have a passport and may require
Visas or Alien Cards. Check your nearest Canadian Consulate before
travelling.
Currency
Exchange
Tourists or visitors can go to Canadian banks, credit unions,
foreign exchange brokers or trust companies to exchange money.
Some restaurants,
hotels, etc. will accept US currency; however, the exchange rate
may be lower than that posted by financial institutions.
Internationally
connected automated banking machines are available as well, Visa,
Master Card, and American Express are accepted by most businesses.
