Sugarloaf Park

Located in Atholville, just a few minutes from Campbellton, is Sugarloaf Park. The whole family can enjoy this year-round Activity Destination, a spectacular 3000-acre park carved out of unspoiled forest. The summer attractions include the playground, campsite, paddle boats and tennis courts, the Alpine slides and plenty of spots for picnicking. Feeding areas where the whole family can feed the wild birds and squirrels, some will eat out of you hand. The Terry Fox Trail, a two mile hike around the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain, is popular with joggers. You can also climb to the top of the mountain to appreciate the beautiful panoramic view of the region.

For the Winter season, Sugarloaf Park has 9 alpine ski trails and 6 snowboard trails. Over 20km of Cross Country ski trails groomed for both classic and skate techniques. Exciting snow trails for snowmobile, 32 km of groomed and marked trails
